  2. Heavy as hell, thought the other reviews complaining of weight were just exaggerating. They’re not. Pressure is nothing more than your standard pump sprayer. So, it comes down to whether you want to spend the energy lugging this beast around, or using a lighter pump sprayer and stopping to pump every two minutes.

  3. Worked great the first year. I didn’t mind the weight (I am old man and the weight should have bothered me but I didn’t feel it was that much). What I did mind was that, after cleaning it and storing it for a year, I was unable to get the battery to charge again. I left it plugged into the charger for three full days the indicator light stayed red. (It is supposed to turn green when the battery is fully charged.) I tried running it anyway (in case the indicator light wasn’t working), but it did not work. So basically, as far as my experience goes, it is a one year deal. I really liked it for that one year.

  4. I have only used this sprayer twice but was very impressed with the performance and ease of use. The spray pattern covered well and there are a number of hose attachments that I did not try as of yet.

  5. I just finished washing my house, including a large patio and large front porch in less than 6 hours. The old record was about 2 days and a lot harder. I have a lot of dog and cat houses and patio table and chairs added to this. The old way was to use the bleach mixer on the power sprayer but you could not control the strengh of the solution that was sprayed and it was always too delute to do the job and took twice as much bleach. Now I spray 1 part bleach and 3 parts water, and it is just about perfect, no residue and it cuts the grime and mold. This bleach is Outdoor PRO strengh bleach from Lowes or Home Depot, 1.4 gallon jugs. It took 4 jugs to do my house. It used to take at least 6 and sometimes I would have to go back for another jug or two. To tell you the truth, it was so much easier doing it with this sprayer, I may wash it down 2 times a year instead of 1 a year and that was if I could force myself to do it that often. The spray nozzel I used, and it came with 4, was the ajustable one and was yellow. It was hard to turn and I had to use pliers, but I expect it will get easier, although what I use it for, I may never need to adjust it again. I used to use a a ladder to reach the high places because the strengh of the power sprayer was needed to cut all the grime, but with this sprayer, and my ability to control the strengh of the solution, I stood flat footed and did it all and I am 5′8″ in shoes. After I was done, it took about one hour to recharge the battery. Had I known, I would have paid $200.00 maybe more for this baby. It is one of my can’t do with out tools now. I have about 1300 feet of old wire fence, weed eating is just making it worse, I think I will try Roundup on that now that I have a viable tool for it. I had a hand pump back pack sprayer, a cheap one, and it didn’t last a summer. I don’t even use the back straps on this one it sprays a good steady stream at least 15 – 20 feet and has an excellent handle to carry it with. If I do use it on my fence I will us my $25.00 dolly to roll it around. Can I possibly find fault with this product, NO! Hope this helps you make the correct decision.

  6. I had ordered a ShurFlo SRS6000 battery operated backpack sprayer ($170) but after 2 months and still no product, I cancelled and bought this backpack at my local Harbor freight (under one of their house brands). I did not try their wand but instead used my own wand that I got from Tractor Supply and a Solo 2 nozzle boom. My goal is to do blanket apps of various products. The sprayer works pretty well. There are four plastic wheels on the bottom and I already broke 2 of them after only a handful of uses. Inside there is a nice screen filter at the inlet which is nice. Not sure about the rated battery life but I usually recharge it after 3 hours of useage because I don’t want to run out of juice during a spray. The backstraps are a little cheap on the ends–just plastic (hopefully it’ll last). Sure this unit is heavy when loaded, but not much more than any 5 gal sprayer. I like that it has 5 gallons and not 4–I usually fill it up to 4.5gal and leave some for foam. So far no issues, but I did buy the 2 year replacement warranty since I got it so cheap ($70 – $14 coupon). If it lasts me 2 years, great! I may pick up another for strictly herbicide use.
